About Streetapp

"Streetapp" was born out of a genuine operational need for an evangelistic charity in Wales, Wales Revival Alliance (WRA). The charity trains churches in outdoor evangelism and in developing spiritual gifts for evangelism. We aim to equip local believers to be better able to share the Gospel in their home area and to do so together with other local churches. 

As WRA began operating in Wales and overseas, they found they needed an efficient way of recording contacts made on the streets to pass on to local churches for follow-up. They wanted something that would operate on mobile phones, with their connectability and ubiquitous presence.

I am one of WRA's trustees. As I am also a professional web developer, I built a custom app for the ministry which has now been tested in several scenarios, including overseas. Knowing how expensive app development is normally, followed by high charges from Apple and Google for using their app stores, I have developed a simple installation that avoids all the normal expensive development and ongoing charges.
